Miley Cyrus & DUBSTEP

Sooooooooooo dubstep dj Borgore apparently had Miley Cyrus do back up vocals on a new track of his, and the entire world is having a heart attack. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it disgraceful to everything music that this happened? Are dance floors going to split open straight down to the gates of Hell and let demons escape? Does it matter?

Well, there's two points to be made about the song here:
Point #1: All Miley does is back up vocals, and for what it's worth, she can hold a tune, so she does well. She doesn't put any dumb influence on the song aside from that.

Point #2: Almost the same at point 1, but Borgore is clearly the one who wrote the song, and it's still in his style, all the way down to his infinitely-wise rap lyrics:

"Bitches love cake."

Bonus point: If you do actually want demons to come out of the dance floor, I suggest this song:

DOO DAH DIPPIDY

Remember those Kia commercials with the hamsters? And they're all hippa hoppa dancin' to show the world how much better the Soul was than the Scion? But most importantly, do you remember the DOPE song in the background?

The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)- Black Sheep (1991)

(go to 2:52 if you really can't wait)

Now crank that song, then mute this video and play it:

LET THE BASS CANNON KICK IT

Here's a video I'd never seen before until today though I (probably like you) have been familiar with it for a while. Comically representative of bass culture.

Addressing Kony 2012 Again

I don't think I can support anyone else who masturbates in public. Pee Wee Herman is my limit, so sorry Jason Russell, but I offer you no sympathy.
Also, in case you didn't know, it's hard to support your cause when:
1) You act the way you did: http://rt.com/usa/news/kony-2012-arrested-masturbating-777/
2) You have potential legal issues with your non-profit status: http://mashable.com/2012/03/08/kony-2012-scam/
It's just hard to know what to believe anymore man.
I mean, I'm being told cats can talk.

And now I'm supposed to believe that the drunk brunch-time diddle fiddler is helping the world out. For all I know Joseph Kony is my grandpa! Or grandma! Or me!

Guns, Drugs, Violence, 8 year-olds

A friend showed me this. Very much worth the watch. Believe me, as a person who hates it when a friend facebooks me and says, "CHECK OUT THIS RAD VIDEO LAWL," and usually it turns out to be something less than entertaining-- this video is actually very entertaining.

I don't know anything about the band, but here's their myspace if you like the music.

Cheers.
